This project was a partnership with Red Door Design. The most challenging part of it was taking the stairs from the kitchen to the second floor and kitchen to the basement and reversing the direction. This required excavating a small area of crawlspace and adding to the basement. The only way to get to it was with shovels and buckets which we used to haul the dirt up and out of the basement by hand. We moved walls in the kitchen to allow for the new cabinet layout.
