After nearly a decade honing his skills in the construction trade, Nate Kauffman embarked on a new chapter, founding Kauffman Construction. This same year, we proudly completed our very first project: a re-roofing job that marked the beginning of our commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Our team grew to two full-time employees. This expansion allowed us to take on more ambitious projects, culminating in the exciting completion of our first new custom home.
A pivotal year saw Jared Yoder transition to an in-office role, taking on responsibilities as office manager and sales/designer. We also embraced innovation by implementing Softplan Design software, streamlining our design process, and better positioning ourselves to serve clients from initial concept to completion.
To further enhance our efficiency and communication, we integrated Buildertrend construction management software. This powerful tool provides a centralized portal for all job information and scheduling, fostering seamless collaboration among our team and subcontractors.
Fulfilling a long-held dream, Nate welcomed his son, Ben Kauffman, as a full-time carpenter apprentice. Ben represents the second generation of Kauffman Construction, bringing fresh energy and a commitment to continuing our legacy of excellence.
Since our inception, we’ve proudly completed over 600 projects, ranging from minor renovations to significant custom builds. Each project has allowed us to forge meaningful relationships, and we’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us.
