This project stands out for its unique walkout basement, designed to seamlessly blend with the natural surroundings. Positioned at the back of the house, it opens directly onto a peaceful wooded area. The clever design allows ample sunlight to stream through the basement windows, creating an inviting atmosphere that feels just like the main floor. The result is a beautiful home that offers generous space for entertaining on every level, enhanced by the unexpected addition of a bonus safe room tucked away beneath the front porch.
A key challenge in this design was ensuring that the grade of the walkout basement harmonized perfectly with the front grade of the house. This careful planning was essential to create a cohesive and visually appealing landscape around the entire property.
